He thinks his old friend Chen Chunshui might rent him a vacant property, yet the man has been out of contact for nearly half a year. Forced to move into the grandmother’s home, the grandfather triggers constant conflicts after moving in. Dou Dou chooses play as an escape from the household tensions, while the grandfather sinks deeper into loneliness.
