The film is based on true events and begins in 1900 when Chile, seeing that after twenty years of occupation the people of Tacna were resisting belonging to the southern country, decided to initiate the so-called violent Chileanization, starting in the educational sphere, expelling Peruvian teachers and forcing children to study subjects specific to that country with Chilean teachers.
