Director
Born on August 13, 1996, in Tehran, Iran, Mahdi Ghazi is a versatile animation director and designer with a solid academic and professional foundation. Holding a Bachelor’s in Architecture from the University of Tehran and a Master’s in Animation Directing from Tehran University of Art, Mahdi is now pursuing a PhD in Visual Arts at the University of Tehran. Over the past five years, he has honed his skills in storyboard design, decoupage, character and background design, contributing to celebrated animated series such as Pahlevanan(the Heroes), Shahr-e-Sukhte, and Bache Zerang. In addition to his professional contributions, Mahdi has directed and produced three personal short films, which embody his unique vision in exploring animation and comic production. His work often delves into the intricate relationship between visual storytelling and musical expression, a passion reflected in his broader research pursuits. As an experienced art director, he brings a depth of insight into the interplay between design, direction, and narrative in animated media.
