Kevin Donnelly is an Irish born artist who centers his work around video-based processes, integrating both contemporary and outdated technologies as tools to merge visual and conceptual processes. Sometimes Incorporating elements of performance within the work to explore personal and social themes. Recent projects have examined self-identity, social media, memories, data, and the human experience, juxtaposing narrative storytelling with the alternative functions of technology. Through this exploration an attempt to translate the intricate relationships between humans, technology, and the complexity of contemporary living into a visual language.
