Director
Film producer and director, audiovisual artist, and cultural manager, born in Lima, graduated from the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the University of San Martin de Porres. He also studied film in 1989 at Armando Robles Godoy's workshop. A cultural manager and co-director of the first Latin American Film Festival, he has produced audiovisual works, including films such as "La Academia USA-Perú" (General Producer, 2016), "Dos amigos, una historia" (2015), "El Cebichito" (2015) (Executive Producer), "Soledad.com" (Executive Producer, 2005), "Flor de Retama" (2004), and "Duele Amar" (2003) (Executive Producer). He has also produced music videos, commercials, institutional videos, and other documentaries, including "Día a día, el Camino emprendedor" (Day by Day, the Entrepreneurial Path). He also wrote the screenplay for the comedy film "The President's Man," which won a rewriting grant from the Carolina Foundation in Madrid, Spain, as well as the comedy "The Wedding of the Year" by Peruvian director Carlos García, which is currently in production. He is currently writing the screenplays for the film "Wait for Me," based on the life and work of former President Fernando Belaunde Terry, and "Cenepa 1995: Love for Honor," a film based on the true story of the heroic act of Peruvian Army Captain Luis Fernando García Rojas.
