Steve Regan is a British television executive and producer, and the founder and CEO of the Brighton-based production company Hello Mary, which he launched in 2019. Hello Mary has produced factual and entertainment programming for a range of UK broadcasters, including The Royals: A History of Scandals (Channel 4/More4), The Buildings That Fought Hitler (UKTV/Yesterday), and One Night Stand? (E4); in 2021, STV Studios took a 25% stake in the company as part of its unscripted portfolio. Before founding Hello Mary, Regan spent over eight years at Viacom, where he was Head of Development and Production at MTV and commissioned hit factual entertainment formats including Geordie Shore, Ex on the Beach, and Catfish. He went on to oversee entertainment at Channel 5, where he commissioned multiple series of Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother, brought Lip Sync Battle to the UK, and developed formats including Make or Break?. Earlier in his career, he worked as a commissioning editor at Channel 4, Sky One, and Living.
