Director
Karina Cáceres is a film director, having graduated from the International Film and Television School (EICTV) in Cuba, and holds a degree in Advertising and Multimedia from the Catholic University of Santa María. She also holds a Master's degree in Audiovisual Screenwriting from the University of La Rioja. Her notable films include: Cable a Tierra (2013), which won the APRECI award for Best Peruvian Film at the 3rd Lima International Independent Film Festival (2013) and Best Film in the national competition at the Ibero-American Digital Film Festival (FIACID) (2014); and Bajo la Influencia (2016), which received an award from the Ministry of Culture. She is a project advisor at EICTV - Cuba, a cultural manager, and a professor at the Professional School of Advertising and Multimedia at UCSM. In 2018, she founded KONSTELACION AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION COMPANY, where she develops film projects and promotes audiovisual production, filmmaking, and distribution in Arequipa.
